How do you guarantee the security of telemetry transmissions?
We use Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) to encrypt all data flowing between edge devices and the MQTT broker. Additionally, we enforce client token-based authentication and payload-level AES-256 encryption to prevent tampering or interception during transit.
What happens if a device loses internet connectivity?
Our custom firmware templates integrate flash-memory-based queues (e.g., using SPIFFS/LittleFS on ESP32 or local databases on Raspberry Pi). When offline, sensor data is buffered locally with exact timestamps and automatically backfilled to the broker once connection is restored.
Do you offer custom hardware design and PCB layouts?
Yes! We provide end-to-end hardware development, including schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout routing, prototyping, and assistance with components sourcing and enclosure design. We design custom shields for ESP32 and STM32 MCUs.
How does Firmware-Over-The-Air (FOTA) update securely?
FOTA updates are delivered via secure HTTP channels. The MCU downloads bin files, verifies their SHA-256 checksum and digital signature, and writes them to a secondary flash partition. If the new partition boots successfully, it becomes the primary; otherwise, it rolls back automatically to prevent bricking.
Which communications protocols are supported?
Depending on distance and network conditions, we support MQTT over TCP/WebSockets, CoAP for ultra-constrained networks, HTTPS Web API posts, LoRaWAN for long-distance off-grid nodes, and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) for short-range indoor tracking.
